Jeffrey WB Wood and Bark Hogs Can Now be Retrofitted with New EZ AccessTM Technology
Woodruff, SC - All Jeffrey WB wood and bark hogs have been redesigned to easily be retrofitted with EZ AccessTM Technology. When retrofitting to the EZ Access model many of the exiting components can be re-used minimizing the cost while providing all of the technical features of the new EZ Access wood & bark hog.
The EZ Access design allows clearing of plugged chutes safely and quickly and minimizes downtime. This new technology allows safe, fast and easy access to the hogs' hammers, rotors, and liners. As a result, operators can now remove the entire rotor without removing the feed chutes.
Jeffrey hogs are available with a rugged, disc-type standard rotor or a Stainless Steel design for difficult applications. Hammers are offered in several designs, including the Jeffrey-exclusive DuratipTM hammer with replaceable tips for easy and cost effective maintenance.
Additional product features include alloy-steel liners that are drilled and tapped for easy changes, rotor disc lugs to assist with the cutting of stringy material and Slant-FlowTM screen grates for longer life and optimum capacity in high-wear applications.
From its offices and plant in Woodruff, SC., Jeffrey manufactures a complete line of wood and bark hogs, vibrating equipment, crushers, solid waste shredders and Chip-sizerTM machines. Its machinery is used worldwide in a variety of applications, including forest products, aggregates, coal, mining and pulp and paper.
