JEFFREY SPECIALTY EQUIPMENT UPDATES HORIZONTAL WOOD HOG
WOODRUFF, S.C. - Designed to handle Construction and Demolition Waste, Land Clearing Debris, Pallets and Wood Waste, Jeffrey has updated their horizontal wood and bark hogs with new mechanical and electrical features, while maintaining the robust design found in the previous Jeffrey models. The company says the added features have shown it will enhance the machines overall performance.
The updated machine incorporates a large drag chain in-feed conveyor with pusher attachments along with a pivoted roll that is both variable speed and variable pressure. Both features insure there is a constant and positive feed of material into the shredding zone of the machine at all times. The machine has also been updated with a PLC to provide accurate control of the machines feedback loops as well as the primary machine functions.
Jeffrey wood and bark hogs are available with a heavy duty, disc-type standard rotor for difficult applications. Hammers are offered in several designs, including the Jeffrey-exclusive UltraAlloyTM hammer for extended life.
Additional product features include alloy-steel liners that are drilled and tapped for easy maintenance and Slant-FlowTM screen grates for long life and optimum capacity in high-wear applications.
