The drive is directly coupled with a gearmotor; therefore, there are no chains that require high maintenance. The power feed roll and integral drive is available on all new WBH models, or it can be retrofitted on existing horizontal models.

Another primary benefit of the Jeffrey horizontal wood hog line is easier access to the hammers and screen grates. The back of the WBH unit is designed to open up and down, making access easier and saving considerable time during maintenance.

Like other industry-proven Jeffrey wood hogs and shredders, the WBH units produce consistently sized material in one pass. They are available with chain, vibrating, or belt infeed conveyors for greater versatility, and they have drilled and tapped replaceable wear liners. The units can also be constructed with a variety of hammers to accommodate the customer’s requirements and maintenance schedules.
