Razorback™
The impetus behind the design of the RAZORBACK™ was to produce a hammermill/shredder capable of delivering high production levels of wood fiber with a controllable particle size using less energy.
The RAZORBACK™ hammermill is designed to allow for easy modification of internal components to adjust the product discharge size. Initial configuration of the Rotor Gates, Rotor Lugs, Discharge Grates, and Hammers is determined by product testing in Rader’s Lab or from previous application experience. If at any time the application dictates a change in the product sizing, the internal components can be reconfigured in the field with a very minimal amount of downtime.
